If you attended the Village board meeting on June 26th, you might have been left in a state of confusion regarding the status of the Moratorium on the dispensing of controlled substances in a medical facility. Specifically, I’m referring to the Moratorium that was communicated to Mitch Baumann of Fusion Recovery on June 8, 2023, through the following email and is also mentioned in this video clip at time 1:53 ~ https://youtu.be/Bj2fyrNtf-k
Those who were present at that meeting likely walked away under the impression that this Moratorium was enacted that very night. However, during last night’s meeting, it was suggested that a formal process is required before a moratorium can be fully enacted. This leads us to question whether we’ve been subject to an intentional misdirection, an oversight, or simple miscommunication. Alternatively, is it possible that a moratorium is already in effect?
