We are a passionate coalition of local residents, families, businesses, and community leaders who have come together to oppose the establishment of a methadone clinic within our neighborhood.
Our Mission
MUSC’s mission is to preserve the integrity and safety of our community by actively working against the opening of a methadone clinic in our residential area. We believe in fostering a supportive, vibrant, and thriving community that prioritizes the needs of its residents. Our focus is to provide a platform for our community members to voice their concerns, gather resources, and work collectively towards safeguarding our village.
Our Objectives
- Raise Awareness: We aim to raise awareness among our neighbors, local businesses, and authorities about the potential risks and negative impacts associated with a methadone clinic being opened in our residential area.
- Advocate for Alternatives: We believe in the importance of proper addiction treatment and recovery. However, we advocate for the establishment of such facilities in appropriate locations that do not compromise the safety and well-being of residential communities.
